A Laurel woman was on her way to grab some essentials when she stopped for gas at Clark Oil Company Inc. at 708 Chantilly St., in Laurel. While there, she purchased a Mississippi Limited scratch-off game.
Once she finished her grocery shopping, she scratched her ticket and realized she won $100,000!
“I jumped out of the car and ran inside to ask my momma if she saw the same thing I was seeing,” she said with a smile in her voice.
She called the Mississippi Lottery Corporation (MLC) Headquarters appointment line where she set up a time to collect her winnings. She plans to buy a home for her family.
